Senior Associate / Associate - Nuclear & Energy Projects - Bristol

The Role
You'll join a market leading Nuclear & Energy Projects team working on nationally significant, first of a kind and large scale energy developments. The team advises across the full lifecycle of major projects, from early strategy and procurement through to construction, operation and regulatory compliance.
Your work will include:
- Advising on high profile nuclear and clean energy projects, including new build, decommissioning and advanced technologies.
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial, regulatory and project documentation.
- Supporting clients on procurement strategy, risk allocation and project delivery.
- Working with government bodies, developers, funders and international energy clients.
- Collaborating with specialists across planning, construction, regulatory, corporate and finance.
- Helping shape the future of the UK's energy transition and low carbon infrastructure.
This is a senior role offering exposure to some of the most innovative and strategically important projects in the UK energy sector.
Candidate Requirements
You will be an experienced lawyer who:
- Has strong commercial, projects, construction or regulatory experience (energy sector experience welcome but not essential).
- Is confident handling complex, multi stakeholder matters.
- Brings excellent drafting skills and a pragmatic, solutions focused approach.
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Is commercially aware, organised and comfortable managing client relationships.
- Has the appetite to work on major national infrastructure and cutting edge energy projects.
