Property Development Solicitor - 5-8 PQE - Bangor
Location: Bangor (hybrid working up to 2 days per week after probation)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)

A respected regional practice is seeking a Property Development Solicitor (5-8 PQE) to join its expanding Property team in Bangor. This role offers high quality development work, autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with private and public sector developers and funders across commercial and residential schemes.

The Role

  • Acting on land acquisitions via options, conditional contracts and package deals
  • Advising on conditional agreements for lease for pre lets
  • Managing site assembly work, including planning and adoption agreements, wayleaves and substation transfers
  • Assisting with construction documentation where required
  • Advising on development funder requirements when acting for borrowers
  • Conducting full development due diligence when acting for funders
  • Handling onward disposals of completed units and investment sales


Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 5-8 years' PQE
  • Demonstrable experience in property development work
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Strong drafting and transactional skills
  • Experience managing developments from acquisition to disposal


Skills & Attributes:

  • Commercial mindset with a solutions focused approach
  • Strong communication and client handling skills
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Professional, calm and collaborative


Desirable:

  • Experience supervising junior lawyers
  • Business development or networking experience
