A leading commercial law firm is seeking a Senior or Principal Associate with 7+ years' post qualification experience to join its highly regarded Commercial team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work with major UK businesses, contribute to a nationally recognised practice, and play a key role in the team's continued growth.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a broad and high quality caseload of commercial work, including:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
  • Advising clients on commercial law, IP, data protection, and e commerce
  • Delivering training and presentations to clients and internal teams
  • Supporting corporate transactions with commercial, IP, and IT expertise
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to provide strategic legal input


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 7+ years PQE in commercial law
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
  • A client focused approach and commitment to high professional standards
  • Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
