Job title: Private Client Senior Associate
Location: Southampton
Salary: £65,000-£80,000 DOE
PQE Level: 5+ PQE
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time

I'm working with one of the region's premier Private Client teams-highly ranked in both Chambers and the Legal 500-who are seeking to grow their department with the addition of an ambitious, experienced Private Client Solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established practice recognised for its technical excellence, impressive client base, and complex work.

The Role
You'll handle a varied caseload spanning:

• Estate administration and complex probate matters
• Trust creation and management
• Wills, LPAs and succession planning
• High level inheritance tax and Capital Gains Tax planning

You'll also play a key role in supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued development of the team.

About You
The ideal candidate will bring:

• Solid experience across tax related private client work
• Excellent drafting and technical skills
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with a genuine focus on client care
• STEP qualification - or a willingness to work towards it, which the firm fully supports
