Residential Property Paralegal - Oxfordshire
Hours: Full-time, office-based
Contract: Permanent

I'm working with a well‑established, highly regarded high street practice with multiple offices across Oxfordshire. The firm is multi‑disciplinary with a thriving Residential Property department supported by a centralised completions team. They offer a friendly, collaborative and hardworking environment where performance is recognised, work-life balance is genuinely valued, and long‑term career development is encouraged.
The firm is seeking a motivated Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive, reputable practice. You'll work alongside experienced fee earners and play a key role in progressing residential property matters from instruction through to completion, with strong in‑house support and a collaborative team culture.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Supporting remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions
- Conducting searches, preparing documentation and managing pre‑completion tasks
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Maintaining accurate paper and electronic file management
- Ensuring compliance with AML, GDPR and internal procedures
- Providing clear, timely communication to clients and third parties
- Supporting the completions process with the central team
- Contributing to the smooth running of the department
- Experience in residential conveyancing or a strong interest in property law
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence in communicating with clients and progressing tasks independently
- A proactive, professional and conscientious approach
- Strong compliance awareness and familiarity with case management systems
- The ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑street practice environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team
This role suits an experienced paralegal or an early‑career legal professional seeking long‑term development within a supportive environment.
