Senior Tax & Trusts Advisor - Bristol - Leadership Role
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (flexible and hybrid working available)
Salary: £65,000 to £85,000, depending on experience
A leading regional law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Tax Advisor to lead its Bristol-based team. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to manage a high-value client portfolio, oversee a growing team, and shape the strategic development of the firm's Trusts and Estates Tax offering.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
* Leading and supervising a team of Trusts and Estates Tax Executives
* Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth trusts and estates
* Conducting KPI and SRA matter reviews
* Overseeing team financials and operational performance
* Providing trust administration and tax compliance services
* Supporting technical advisory queries across the firm
* Driving internal process improvements and external initiatives
* Assisting with FATCA, TRS, and CRS reporting
* Collaborating with senior leadership on strategic development
* Supporting the growth of the firm's Trust Corporation offering
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a senior advisor with:
* Extensive experience in trust taxation, administration, and management
* Familiarity with trust account preparation and compliance
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Experience mentoring junior colleagues
* A collaborative and proactive approach
* Strategic thinking and commercial awareness
* Experience with Trust Corporations (preferred)
