Solicitor - Corporate Commercial - Somerset - 3+ Years PQE
Location: Somerset
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with some hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 DOE
A respected regional law firm is seeking a Corporate Commercial Solicitor with 3+ years' post-qualification experience to join its expanding team in Somerset. This is a standalone role in a new office location, offering the opportunity to build a presence with full support from a busy and well-established wider team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including:
- M&A transactions and corporate restructuring
- Commercial contracts and joint ventures
- Advising SMEs and larger businesses across sectors
- Supporting business development and client relationship growth
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm
- Maintaining high professional standards and compliance
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 3+ years PQE in corporate and commercial law
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence in managing matters independently
- A proactive mindset and commercial awareness
- A following or proven ability to develop client relationships (for partner-level consideration)
- Willingness to contribute to the growth of a new office location
