Paralegal Fee Earner - Personal Injury - Bristol - Fast Track Claims
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Up to £30,000
A well-established legal practice is seeking a Paralegal Fee Earner to join its Personal Injury team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload involving vulnerable road users and head injury claims, within a collaborative and client-focused environment.
The Role
This fee-earning position involves handling a broad range of personal injury matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing your own caseload of personal injury claims efficiently and independently
- Pursuing claims up to £25,000 through and outside of the MOJ Portal
- Handling pre- and post-litigation stages using a case management system
- Communicating with clients, insurers, expert witnesses, and solicitors
- Attending weekly risk assessment meetings
- Managing client expectations and resolving complaints in line with company policy
- Ensuring compliance with service standards and internal procedures
Areas of Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Handling and valuing claimant personal injury cases
- MOJ Portal processes and Fast Track claims
- Investigating liability in road traffic accident claims
- Technical claims handling, including litigation
- Working with case management systems and meeting service level agreements
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Paralegal Fee Earner with:
- Experience managing personal injury caseloads
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and legal research abilities
- A collaborative and proactive approach to team work
- Law degree, CILEx, or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential)
