Solicitor / Legal Executive - Medical Negligence - Exeter - 2+ Years' PQE

Location: Exeter (Hybrid)

Salary: £45,000 to £65,000

A respected law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years' PQE to join its Medical Negligence team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload within a supportive and client-focused environment.

The Role

This fee-earning role involves handling a broad range of medical negligence matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing your own caseload effectively and independently
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with risk management procedures
  • Staying up to date with legal developments and best practices
  • Building and maintaining a network of contacts and referrers

Areas of Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Medical negligence claims, including those involving Hospital Trusts, GPs, Dentists, and Ambulance Trusts
  • Handling complex and sensitive cases with professionalism and empathy
  • Delivering transparent, high-quality client service

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with:

  • Minimum 2 years' PQE in medical negligence law
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to team development
  • Commitment to continuous professional improvement

Working Arrangements

The role is based in the centrally located Exeter office. Flexible working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
